apply for a card from First Premier, Orchard, or Capital One.
if that doesn't work, then, go to your bank and ask for a secured credit card. that means you put down some money or collateral for however much you are asking for a credit limit......How does someone get a credit card with no credit history or are they doomed for life?
for your best interest you must start with a secured credit card issued by your bank

Banks offer secured credit cards with low spending limits secured by your savings account with their bank.Pay on time and you can raise the limit slowly. After you establish your credit you will receive so many offers it will make you sick
Try getting a Premier Bank Card. You might have to google it or try there website.. BUT THEY WILL GIVE YOU ONE.. it will be high interest until you earn credit. Trust me, they gave me one when i had no credit and half of my friends as well. Good Luck.
You should source a debit card. That is when you put in the money and can withdraw it from the cc. This is a good way to start a credit history and the next is to obtain a small loan and pay it back on time plus a few extra payments. Another sound strategy is to have regular savings proving you are not frivolous with your money.
It's fairly easy to get a gasoline credit car. You can only buy gus and convenience items with it, but if you use it and pay it off every month, you will build the credit you need for a Visa or Mastercard within a year.
That's what I did.
Your question ,it's so common. Try getting a department store card first. They are easy for anyone to get. Make a small purchase each month, pay it out in full at the end of the month. After doing this for a min. of six months, then apply for a major credit card. You should be fine.
