CC's are one of the biggest scams in the banking industry. Just use a debit card instead and you will then never get into CC debt like most of the US.Any thought on why with no credit and the same job for over a year and a half now i cant get student CC?
you must be too young - most often time, banks will not loan money to anyone younger than 21.
Are you in college yet? Have you specifically applied for Student CCs? If you are enrolled in college you should be getting mail left and right asking you to apply for a CC. My first CC was with Capitol One and was a $200 limit. Try them. Good luck!

Actually, come to think of it, try to get your name put down as a user for one of your parent's CCs, if possible. Like a simple gas card. Then try and apply for your own CC.
Go to the mall and go into a department store. Sign up for a credit card. Most likely, a department store or VISA will give you a credit card. The interest rate will be high but that is because you have no history of paying off debt. Or, go to http://www.usa.visa.com/personal/cards/i and choose a card and apply. You may want to call and be extra polite and nice to the representative and don't lie about your income. When I was establishing credit I was friends with the Operations Manager and she told me so-and-so called to check your income. Also, my husband did not have any credit when we bought our home and his first credit card was a Visa Capitol One card. Try them. http://www.capitalone.com/ They do have the best commercials too. Sincerely, whatzerface
Try capital 1 in most cases they will give you a credit card and apply by telephone and talk to a person explaining you need it because you are going on vacation to Florida for 2 weeks what you do with your card and how you spend it is your business.usually the decision is made by somebody that is stupid and just plays the role of being important anyhow.
Go to your bank and open a secured credit card. That's where you deposit $300 or $400 (could be more if you like) into a savings account and is then issued a credit card with a spending limit equal to the amount of your deposit. About 6 months later, provided that you do not abuse your secured card, you should apply for a regular (unsecured) credit card. Most likely you will be approved.
